226 Camp Sites

The whole family can take advantage of the many recreational, educational and cultural activities available to them in the Berks County area while visiting Liberty Bell Motorsports Park. A 226 site campground situated along the banks of the Schuylkill River will be constructed in conjunction with the Motorsports Park.

The site is located at the mid-way point along the Schulykill River Heritage Corridor, a federally protected area which includes a linear park that stretches 128 miles from Pottsville, Pennsylvania in Schuylkill County to the Delaware River in Philadelphia. The Thun Trail (pronounced "toon") is located on an abandoned rail bed of the former Pennsylvania Railroad Company. It is managed by the Schuylkill River Greenway Association and is being converted into a beautiful walking and hiking path.

The trail intersects the campground property and is very convenient to access. All camping sites will have individual connections for water, sewer, electric and cable TV. Plans for the campground include a boat landing, general store, pavilion, modern bathhouses, playground, swimming pool and game arcade. Very careful consideration was given to the location and design of the campground and we are extremely proud of the result. We are certain it will enhance the motorsports experience while visiting Liberty Bell Motorsports Park and the surrounding area.
