The 1994 Lamborghini 30th SE was built to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Lamborghini production (1964-1994). The San Agata, Italy based company is a competitor and its owner, Ferrucio Lamborghini, was a contemporary of the late Enzo Ferrari. This particular model was 385 pounds lighter than the standard version supercar and was lavishly fitted with carbon fibre, magnesium and titanium throughout its body, suspension and drivetrain. The 48 valve, V12, naturally aspirated powerplant delivered a whopping 520 bhp. The top speed claimed by the factory is 206.8mph; however, the car has been timed electronically at 215mph. The car shown here was purchased new in December 1994 and has clocked only about 1000 miles. |
